Delete Your Account

PLTK ("we," "our," or "us") respects your right to control your data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.

Delete from the App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the app:

  1. Open PLTK on your device
  2. Go to Settings (bottom tab)
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.

Request Deletion via Email

If you can no longer access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

Please include any information that can help us identify your account, such as:

  • The device you used the app on
  • Your approximate date of last use
  • Any purchase receipts from the App Store or Google Play

We will process your request and delete your data within 7 business days.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

  • Anonymous account— your Supabase authentication record and anonymous user ID
  • Token balance— any remaining translation tokens
  • Purchase history— records of subscription purchases (Yearly Dictionary, monthly Translator plans)
  • Usage data— translation usage events and analytics
  • Notification preferences— push notification settings
  • Linked accounts— any Apple or Google account connections

What Is Not Affected

  • Local dictionary data— the offline dictionary stored on your device is not affected by account deletion. Uninstall the app to remove it.
  • App Store / Google Play purchase records— transaction records held by Apple or Google are governed by their respective policies.

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Remaining tokens cannot be recovered.
  • If you have an active subscription, cancel it through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account.
  • After deletion, if you open the app again, a new anonymous account will be created automatically.
